Brady and I were able to get away for another adventure this weekend. We caught a flight out Friday evening and arrived in Connecticut a few hours later. Saturday was crazy busy as preparations were underway for my sister-in-law's baby shower. (Brady will be getting a new cousin later in May!) I absolutely loved the spring themed baby shower. All of the white ceramics and green moss decor made me look forward to the warmer weather that was awaiting us at home.
Another treat was meeting Brady's second cousin. They are just a few weeks apart and watching them interact made my heart feel so full. We are hoping to get the boys together as often as possible!
Sunday was a laid back day as we laid around the house and spent a few quiet moments together. Brady got to spend time playing in the snow. Thankfully, the weather had warmed up quite a bit so we were able to enjoy the snow without the frigid air.
Tomorrow is another manic Monday. Our flight just got in a few hours ago and between meal prep, laundry and all that other mama stuff I am hoping for a second wind tomorrow. Next weekend Brady has his first friend birthday party and Easter photos. No rest for the weary, no rest for the rad.
