We had such a blast at Blakely's birthday party. I went ALL out with Brady's first birthday because that's what good moms do, right? It was more exhausting then planning my own wedding. At the end of the day I was so over the kid party deal. Needless to say, we have decided that birthday parties will happen every OTHER year for the kiddos. And when they do happen they are low key. At the house. In our pajamas. With LOTS of donuts. Like forever. Seriously.
My friend, Elizabeth the Party Planner Extraordinaire, made every single decoration. Not to mention this was like five minutes after she had a baby. So she gets double props. I loved this theme the second I saw it and then after all the decorations were put together it was absolutely adorable!
We have always purchased cakes from Sweet Anna's Bakery but this year I wanted to give it a go myself. I found this awesome birthday cake tutorial. It was super easy (and cheap) to make.
I purchased her iron on from this Etsy shop. I applied it to a $2 Hobby Lobby shirt. The birthday tutu was a $.99 find at the Goodwill. (Your girl shops on the cheap.)
