Another holiday has come and gone. We had a pretty laid back Easter. Which as crazy as our lives are during the week isn't a bad thing. Brian had to work during the day so Brady and I had a quick breakfast in the morning and then headed to our church's Easter experience. There was a big part of me that just wanted to lay around the house and watch cartoons because it was just the two of us, but my mother in law and girlfriend, Austyn, wanted to join so that pushed me to throw on some mascara, run a curling iron through my hair, and GO. I am so glad I did to! It was just an excellent message.
Brady and I played outside for a while with the pups when we got home. It had rained the day before so everything was kinda wet, but just as we got outside the sun peaked through and dried everything up. We are really into "oushide" right now so I was able to get some super cute photos of my little buddy.
Brian got home just in time for Easter dinner at his parents. We had make-shift easter egg hunt in the living room and Brady opened his Easter basket from Nana. We finished the day by eating a few pieces of candy and reading our new books the Easter bunny brought. Happy faces all around and so many things to thank our risen Savior for!
